Coaching & Counselling Skills

In a business world where the only sustainable competitive advantage is in the skills and abilities of the workforce to work at increasingly higher levels of productivity and excellence, it is vital that anyone responsible for people have skills to nurture and grow their talent pool.

In the 21st century working environment different skills will be needed to empower and involve work-teams to superior performance.  The world of work is rapidly changing from a control and monitor environment to one where supporting and helping staff to increase their skills is seen as a core-competence. Delegates are able to practice their coaching skills in safety.

Day 2

Understanding Emotions
How emotions surface.
What is emotional intelligence?
Empathising.

Counselling with Care
Counselling defined.
Avoiding assumptions.
Working towards an outcome.


Practice Counselling
Delegates are able to practice their counselling skills in safety.
Strengths and limitations highlighted.


Action Planning
Personal Improvement Plan development.
